Guest terms

This is a plain-language summary of the terms you agree to when you join Hopscotch. The full legal terms are being finalized with legal counsel and will replace this page. Version 2026-09-draft-1.

What you agree to

• Hopscotch is a space rental marketplace, not a childcare service. Hosts provide a space only.
• A parent or guardian must stay on-site with their children for the entire visit.
• Outdoor and backyard play carries inherent risks, and you accept those risks for yourself.
• As a parent or guardian, you also give consent for the children in your party to take part.

At every booking

Before you pay, you'll list the children attending and confirm you will be present with them for the whole booking. We keep a record of that confirmation, and of which version of these terms you agreed to.

Cancellations

• 48 hours or more before your booking: full refund.
• 24 to 48 hours before: 50% refund.
• Under 24 hours: no refund.
• If a host cancels more than 24 hours ahead, you're refunded in full.
